Default A real scorcher

Well, July has been a hot month for Colorado, but today seems to be the worst. It's 95F in here right now because I don't have air conditioning, and it's a nice, clear, hot day. So right now, I'm just sweating myself inside out, and my PC is idling at about 50C. It's horrible, and it's even hotter outdoors, the pool here is like taking a hot bath. Anyone who doesn't live here, I envy you, anyone who does live here, Arizona, southern California, etc. - I feel your pain now.

As a native Phoenician, I thank you. It is 110 today with about 45% humidity. That doesn't sound like much until you factor in the 110 and it adds up to about 120.

Go buy yourself a portable AC unit OR get in the shower with a t-shirt and skivvies then sit around in them until they dry then rinse/repeat.

I think today in Salem, Oregon it was about 90 or 95. Its been hot all week. Luckily I have been driving to water for most of those days... I also have AC in my room, and in the room where my computer is.

So basically I rock.

They dont call it the dog days of summer for nothing. I belive it hit 105 yesterday, and 101 today (I live in Aurora). After moving back here to my home state of Colorado from Nebraska, all I can say is at least its a DRY heat and not humid (as in %60 to %90 like it is in Lincoln nearly all the time). Be thankful for the few blessings you have

Wimps. I live in Colorado now and yea, it's hot (101 today where I live) but back in Jersey, if it hit 100 degrees with 100% humidity, holy crap. You would feel like a soggy sock rotting in the sun. You could drink a gallon of water and sweat it out as fast as it went in. At least out here in Colorado there's low to nearly no humidity, making for a nice dry heat you can keep your persperation inside your body for a while, well, at least until you pass out.

Ha, that is true, at least it's a dry heat. I've been around even 80 degree weather with high humidity and I couldn't hardly stand it then

I live in Mesa, AZ, and all I can say is that I'm sorry you have to feel what we feel. Nobody should have to do that unless they're willing.

Yeah, really nice up here in Canada BC. Around 30 - 40 Celcius. (Somewhere around 90 - 125 Fahrenheit. I'm not looking.)

Jeez. When my house gets over 82 Fahrenheit, my computer crashes. We've been having 90+ days for the past week and a half over here. My computer can't take it much longer!
